Picket Fence Creamery is an 80-acre, family owned and operated dairy farm, creamery and country store located just off Highway 141 at the Woodward exit 138. The Burkhart family milks Jersey cows and pasteurizes and bottles the milk onsite. The store offers milk, butter, ice cream, whipping cream, cheese curds, as well as beef and port. They also sell products from other Iowa farms and wineries. Their milk is 100 percent natural, produced without the use of artificial hormones and the cows are grass-fed.
